The car apps are built so screens stay dark while you drive. Here’s how that works — and what you agree to when you use them.
Never watch video or operate a screen while driving. By using the Beebo Entertainment car apps you agree to use them safely and lawfully, and you take full responsibility for doing so. The driver’s attention belongs on the road.
Beebo Mirror shows video on the car screen only when the car is stopped or parked. The moment the car starts moving, the video pauses and the screen shows “Available when parked.” There is no setting to keep video playing while moving.
While the car is moving, the car screen shows no buttons at all — nothing a driver or passenger can tap. Anything you need to do is done on your phone.
Start and stop are on the phone. On the rare car screen that can’t report its speed, a clearly-labelled “My car is parked” confirmation on the phone lets a genuinely parked driver watch — and it switches off automatically the moment any movement is detected.
These features are safety aids, not guarantees. Sensors, cars, and software can be wrong, delayed, or unavailable, and the app cannot know your situation. You must not rely on the app to make it safe or legal to use a screen while driving.
You are responsible for knowing and obeying all laws that apply where you drive, including laws about distracted driving and screens visible to a driver. You assume all risk from using the apps in or around a vehicle. Full terms are in the Terms of Service.
